We worked with both the homeowner and a custom pool designer to create an “in-between” covered living space for an existing house in West Austin. The design connected the existing house and garage with an open-air covered living area, outdoor kitchen and dining room as well as a new 2nd floor deck. We used a combination of rough cut limestone and smooth cut limestone to bridge the gap between the more traditional house and the modern pool design.
